Board of Directors Meeting:

The Directors Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month and serve the purpose of discussing SCVN business needs as well as a forum to share and discuss business opportunities and upcoming Premier Events.

Premier Event:

Premier Events are held on the evening of the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The Premier Events are closed-door private events for SCVN’s Board of Directors and invited guests, that spotlight emerging growth companies. Events are focused on specific industry verticals and provide an intimate forum for networking. Guests are C-level executives complementing the forum while creating great topic synergy.

Deal Maker's Lunch:

The Deal Makers' Lunch is held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. It is open to investment bankers, venture capital and private equity providers, commercial bankers, accountants, lawyers and other parties involved in initiating, structuring, funding and executing corporate transactions of all types. The lunch is a roundtable discussion that enables these professionals to discuss industry trends and share thoughts, ideas and best practices from the mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance worlds.

General Mixer:

The SCVN General Mixer is held on the last Tuesday of the month from 5:45 to 8:30 PM. The purpose of this event is to provide a forum for the greater SCVN membership to network and interact with the Board. An additional component of the General Mixers is the tabletops given to start-up companies, non-profits and sister organizations to provide information about their product and/or services. The result is a social atmosphere energized by innovation and goodwill.

Category Chair Meetings:

SCVN’s Board of Directors is broken down into a dozen categories associated with the various designated subject matter expertise of each of our Directors. These categories include Accounting, Law, Banking and Lending, Marketing, Corporate and Executive Services, and others that support the SCVN Executive Director. These categories are headed up by fellow directors who serve as a Category Chair. SCVN Directors are expected to participate in their respective categories and contribute to the greater good of SCVN. Monthly Category Chair Meetings will be determined by Category Chair and category progress reports are provided at monthly Directors Meetings.
